Arturo Espíndola Rojas
Arturo is the Operation Manager and Head Gide of Patagonia Puelo Lodge. Driven by his paternal Grandfather, he started his world in Recreational Fishing at the age of 9 and from the age of 15 he perfected himself with the best guides and fishermen of the field, including fishing instructors like Marcelo Lillo and advanced techniques with Fernando Espindola. All this was parallel to the study of his professional career, Hotel Management and Services, from which he graduated in 2015. While studying, he carried out his professional practice with an emblem of Recreational Fishing in Chile, Gabriel Benoit, who opened the doors to work and learn from the extreme adventures of Montain Bike and Fly Fishing in the Aysen region. To frame the most impressive captures during his work, he explored the world of photography, taking classes with Luis Berta Rojas, professional photographer of nature and portraits, creator of the book “Patagonia: Landscapes of Torres del Paine Park and surrounding area.” “Antartica the last frontier”. After working in several Lodges of the Puelo River basin, which allowed him to have more experience in the field, he returned to his origins to help grow the family business, Patagonia Puelo Lodge, where every day he puts the passion and charisma necessary to provide an excellent service to fishermen who explore and venture into the waters of the Puelo River.
